FREE WORKSHOP FOR VETERANS 
WHO OPERATE OR WANT TO START A BUSINESS 

BROOKLYN, NY, May 29, 2002-Brooklyn Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) and the Boricua College Small Business Development Center will present a free, workshop for veterans who currently operate a business or who are seeking to start a business.

The workshop will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2002, at BEDC's offices 175 Remsen Street, Suite 350, downtown Brooklyn. To register, call the Small Business Development Center at Boricua College, 718-963-4112, ext. 563. Seating is limited and registration is required.

John Narciso, business advisor for the Veterans' Business Outreach Program, and Frank Dito, veterans' liaison for the Small Business Administration, will present the workshop and discuss financial, management, marketing, and government procurement/certification assistance available to veterans.
