ROBERT HEBRON NAMED TO BEDC BOARD

BROOKLYN, NY, December 7, 2001-Robert Hebron, a principal in Ingram & Hebron Realty, downtown Brooklyn's largest leasing broker, has been elected to the board of directors of Brooklyn Economic Development Corporation (BEDC).

"We are very pleased to have someone of Bob Hebron's caliber on our board," said Mark O'Luck, chairman of the BEDC board. "He brings a tremendous knowledge of real estate, an area of increasing importance to BEDC as the city begins to recover from the tragic events surrounding the attacks on the World Trade Center and the downturn in the economy."

Mr. Hebron stated, "My firm is a principal player in leasing space in downtown Brooklyn and is the leasing agent for buildings with a total of 650,000 square feet. Therefore, we have a vested interest in developing commercial space in this section of the borough, which also is an economic development goal for BEDC."

In downtown Brooklyn, Ingram & Hebron is the leasing agent for 188, 189, and 205 Montague Street, 175 Remsen Street, and 180 Livingston Street, all properties of TreeLine Companies. BEDC has entered into a contract with TreeLine Companies to market office space at 180 Livingston Street to nonprofit organizations. BEDC's agreement with TreeLine Companies is part of a broader initiative that the organization has undertaken to identify potential development opportunities in the commercial real estate market as it relates to economic development.

Mr. Hebron has been a principal in Ingram & Hebron since 1993. Prior to that, he was principal in RFH & Associates Consulting Co., which provided financial consulting services to various corporate and real estate development clients. He received a BA from Queens College and MBA from New York University Graduate School of Business Administration.

BEDC, a private, nonprofit organization, was established in 1979 to stimulate Brooklyn's economy and create job opportunities for the borough and its residents. BEDC has evolved into a multi-service, business-consulting agency, serving more than 1,000 clients annually and offering comprehensive economic development services.
