PROCUREMENT BREAKFAST AND MARKETPLACE FOR BUSINESSES

BROOKLYN, NY, September 13, 2002-Brooklyn Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) and Southwest Brooklyn Industrial Development Corporation (SWBIDC) are inviting businesses to attend a Procurement Breakfast and Marketplace from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2002.

The event, which is sponsored by Community Capital Bank, will be held at the Brooklyn Army Terminal, 140 58th Street at 1st Avenue, Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Breakfast is scheduled for 8:30 a.m., the program at 8:45 a.m., and marketplace and networking from 9:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Individuals attending will learn how their firms can do business with government agencies and other large organizations. Representatives from the Small Business Administration and New York City Department of Business Services will discuss government procurement procedures at the program, and purchasing personnel from a variety of public, private, and nonprofit organizations will be on hand in the marketplace all morning.
