FREE WORKSHOP ON BUSINESS PLANNING FOR YOUR BEAUTY PARLOR OR NAIL SALON
BROOKLYN, NY—January 13, 2005—Brooklyn Economic Development Corporation (BEDC), the Boricua College Small Business Development Center, and the Brooklyn Public Library Business Library will present a free small business workshop on “Business Planning for Your Beauty Parlor or Nail Salon” from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Wednesday, January 26, 2005. The workshop will be held at the Brooklyn Public Library Business Library, 280 Cadman Plaza West (downtown Brooklyn between Pierrepont and Clinton Streets). To register, call 718-623-7000, option 4. Registration is required and seating is limited. “Business Planning for Your Beauty Parlor or Nail Salon” is designed for entrepreneurs seeking to start or currently running their own beauty parlor or nail salon. Speakers will include: Diane Bailey, President, Tendrils Hair Spa, Miriam Colon, Business Advisor for the Boricua College Small Business Development Center, and Maud Andrew-Quintana, Senior Librarian for Small Business at the Brooklyn Public Library Business Library. The workshop’s topics will include:
