Community Economic Development Council (CEDC)

The CEDC was created by BEDC to encourage collaborative relationships among community-based organizations that are engaged in economic development activities and to serve as a means of sharing and disseminating information.

  • More than 150 Brooklyn local development corporations and community-based organizations participate in the CEDC.
  • General meetings of the CEDC are scheduled at least four times a year.

The CEDC is supported with funding from the U.S. Economic Development Administration and the New York City Department of Small Business Services.

To find out how your organization can participate in CEDC, please contact Matthew Rao at: (718) 522-4600 ext. 25. E-mail: mrao@bedc.org
